How do I access my emailbox using an iPhone?

You can access your mailbox via IMAP or POP using your iPhone. The steps are as follows:

1)Tap "Settings" on your main screen.

2)Scroll down and tab "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

3)Tab "Add Account...".

4)Tab "Other".

5)Enter a desired name, the entire e-mail address and the corresponding password.

6)Tab "Save".

7)Select either "IMAP" or "POP" as your connection protocol.

8)Under the "Incoming Mail Server" section, enter the incoming server "mail.yourdomain.ca" and the entire email address as the username.

9)Under the "Outgoing Mail Server" section, enter the hostname "mail.yourdomain.ca", the entire email address as the username and the corresponding password.

10)Tab "Save". The verification stage may take several minutes. Click "Yes" to by-pass SSL when prompted (i.e. disable SSL connection).

11)Tab on the mail account that has just been created.

12)Tab on the "SMTP" row.

13)Tab on the SMTP server "mail.yourdomain.ca".

14)Disable SSL, update Authentication to "Password" and update the SMTP port to 2525.

Note

Before proceeding with the above steps, you should make sure your mailbox has already been created. Please refer to KB-2000 or KB-2001 for more instructions on how to create your mailbox.
