How do I change my registrant name? Users should be advised that changing the name of a registrant is not a trivial matter. This process effectively changes the ownership of all domains registered under the registrant. In other words, it is the same as performing a registrant transfer of all domains under the old registrant to a new registrant. The new registrant name should be a legal one, and its existence should be provable by a government issued document (e.g. Article of Incorporation, Citizenship Card, etc.). A proper legal name will guarantee the ownership of the domains belongs to the rigthful owner.
The registrant transfer process is different when dot-ca domains are involved:
 | For registrants with dot-ca domains, please refer to KB-1003 for more instructions. |
 | For registrants with non-dot-ca domains only, please refer to KB-1004 for more instructions. |
