How do I update my FTP password?


Plesk 8.x or older


When your web hosting plan is first created, you are assigned a random password for your FTP connection. You can update this password as follows:

1)Log into your hosting control panel at http://admin.yourdomain.ca.

2)Click directly on the domain name at the bottom of the page.

3)Click on the "Setup" icon under the "Hosting" section.

4)Enter your new password for your FTP connection and click "OK".


Plesk 9.x


When your web hosting plan is first created, you are assigned a random password for your FTP connection. You can update this password as follows:

1)Log into your hosting control panel at http://admin.yourdomain.ca.

2)Click on the "Domain" icon and then click on the domain name.

3)Click on the "Web Hosting Settings" icon under the "Web Site" section.

4)Enter your new password for your FTP connection and click "OK".
