How do I update my hosting control panel password?
When your web hosting plan is first created, you are assigned a random password for your hosting control panel. You can update this password as follows:
Plesk 8.x or older
| 1) | Log into your hosting control panel at http://admin.yourdomain.ca. |
| 2) | Click on the "Edit" icon under the "Tools" section. |
| 3) | Enter your new password for your hosting control panel and click "OK". |
Plesk 9.x
| 1) | Log into your hosting control panel at http://admin.yourdomain.ca. |
| 2) | Click on the "Change Password" icon under the "Account" section. |
| 3) | Enter your new password for your hosting control panel and click "OK". |
Plesk 10.x
| 1) | Log into your hosting control panel at http://admin.yourdomain.ca. |
| 2) | Click on the "User Accounts" link under the "Users" section at the bottom of the page. |
| 3) | Click on the Contact name directly. |
| 4) | Enter your new password for your hosting control panel and click "OK". |
