Click directly on the domain name to edit its settings.
4)
Select the option "2) Domain Forwarding" under the "web settings" section.
5)
Enter the destination URL in the "forward to:" field. You may also want to enable the "domain gripping" option, in which your domain name (instead of the URL of the destination address, which is usually long and not preferred) will stay in the address bar for cosmetic purpose.
6)
Click on the ''save'' button to confirm.
Note
As an advanced feature, our Domain Forwarding implementation allows sub-directories and web files forwarding. For example, if your domain is http://www.yourdomain.ca and the destination address is http://www.destinationURL.ca, the following redirection will take place:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.yourdomain.ca/file.html TO http://www.destinationURL.ca/file.html
http://www.yourdomain.ca/subdir/file.html TO http://www.destinationURL.ca/subdir/file.html -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In short, the domain name will be replaced by the destination URL by our forwarding system. Although it is useful in some cases, we do not recommend employing or relying on this feature. Instead, navigation links on the website should be used or a proper web hosting plan should be setup.
