How do I publish my website using Microsoft FrontPage or Microsoft Expression Web?
i) Microsoft Expression Web
Plesk 8.x / 9.x / 10.x
a.
Open your website or webpage in Expression Web.
b.
Go to "File" -> "Publish Site".
c.
A "remote website dialogue box" pops up.
d.
Choose the "Remote Web Site" tab.
e.
Check the button beside "FTP". Enter ftp.yourdomain.ca as the "Remote Website Location" and click "OK".
f.
Enter your FTP information to connect to your Windows hosting plan.
g.
Once the connection is established, you will be able to publish to the "httpdocs" folder.
ii) Microsoft FrontPage
1) FrontPage authoring needs to be enabled before publising:
Plesk 8.x or older
a.
Log into your Windows hosting control panel at http://admin.yourdomain.ca.
b.
Click directly on the domain name at the bottom of the page.
c.
Click on the "Setup" icon under the "Hosting" section.
d.
Under the "Microsoft FrontPage support" section, ensure the option "Remote Microsoft FrontPage authoring" is set to "allowed".
e.
Click "OK" to confirm.
Plesk 9.x
a.
Please send us a ticket via our online support system with the following information:

Plesk 10.x
a.
Microsoft Frontpage is a discontinued product and is no longer supported in Plesk 10.x and above. Please see the top section for steps on how to publish using Microsoft Expression Web instead.
2) Once the FrontPage authoring is enabled, you can start publishing your website:
a.
Open your website or webpage in Frontpage.
b.
Go to "File" -> "Publish Web".
c.
Update the URL to http://www.yourdomain.ca
d.
Enter your FTP information to connect to your Windows hosting plan.
e.
Once the connection is established, you will be able to publish to the "httpdocs" folder.
